  Berg♦Oliver Associates, Inc. (BOA) is a full service environmental science and engineering firm with over fifteen years proven experience devoted entirely to the field of Environmental Consulting Services. 

Over the years, the firm has remained focused on understanding the complex federal and state environmental regulations that affect the business interests of clients.   This high level of experience provides its clientele with access to a thorough understanding of environmental assessment, compliance, and mitigation.

BOA performs a variety of environmental assessments for projects, including Natural Resource Assessments such as geologic, hydrologic, climatic, and floodplains; Biological Resource Assessments on vegetation, aquatics, wetlands, wildlife, and threatened and endangered species; Environmental Hazard Assessments; Water Quality Assessments; Cultural Resources; and Socioeconomic Impacts, and Land Use Analyses.  The firm coordinates with various local, state, and federal agencies and participates in public meetings associated with Environmental Information Documents. BOA provides Environmental Assessments (EA) in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA) documentation.  BOA’s experience includes the preparation of assessments to Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) standards, the Texas Water Development Board standards, the United States Department of the Interior standards, and to the United States Army Corps of Engineer Standards for projects on Government Owned Land (GOL). 

BOA has extensive experience in environmental compliance and obtaining the appropriate permits with various agencies including the United States Army Corps of Engineers, Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, United States Fish and Wildlife Services, the Texas Antiquities Committee, the State Historic Preservation Officer, the Harris County Historic Commission, and the Natural Resource Conservation Service.

Effective October 31, 2003, BOA has been certified as a Women/Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (W/DBE) by the City of Houston and Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) by the Texas Building of Procurement Commission.  The Texas Unified Certification Program includes the City of Austin, Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority, North Central Texas Regional Certification Agency, South Central Texas Regional Certification Agency, and Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).
